Thomas Berger is Managing Director of the Institute of interdisciplinary research inter.research e.V. in Fulda, Germany (www.inter-research.eu). The Institute is a non-profit association affiliated to the University of Applied Sciences Fulda and promotes international and interdisciplinary cooperation. It runs an on-line academy for mobile learners of the European Erasmus and Leonardo placement mobility programmes. He manages the OPEN-EYE network of local contact points of the Erasmus for young entrepreneurs programme (www.open-eye.net) and is head of the regional contact point for European placements and university enterprise cooperation. He received is MBA (Educational Management) from the University Oldenburg, Germany.
